Lando Norris secured a brilliant back-to-back victory for McLaren at the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix, delivering a masterclass performance at Zandvoort.
The action-packed race was turned upside down on the opening lap when home favorite Max Verstappen lost control in slippery conditions and struck the wall twice at the final corner.
The heavy impact triggered an immediate red flag, and while Verstappen escaped unhurt, his race was over.
At the Lap 5 restart, Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli executed a perfect launch to snatch the lead from Norris and command the field for the first half of the grand prix. However, McLaren’s superior long-run pace allowed Norris to storm back, reclaim the lead, and cross the finish line over 11 seconds clear of the field.
